“Mirror” is a self-improvement and glow-up application operated by Bogaja LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”), the data controller responsible for your personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable laws.

Mirror is a motivation and self-improvement tool only. It does not provide medical, psychological, diagnostic or therapeutic advice, and is not a substitute for professional care.
We only process data needed to run the app and the features you use. The table below sets out each purpose and its GDPR legal basis.

Payment data (card details and similar) are entered into and held by Apple or Google when you purchase a subscription. We do not receive or store your full payment details.
Glow-up videos. When you tap ‘Share glow-up video’, we create a short before/after video from your baseline and latest progress photos. The photos are processed transiently on our render service in the EU (no face recognition, no third party, no use for advertising or tracking), the resulting video is stored privately and only accessible to you, and it is automatically deleted within 48 hours. This processing happens only on your explicit request.

Some of these providers are located in the United States or process data there. Where data leaves the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards under GDPR Chapter V — primarily the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, where available, the provider’s certification under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Glow-up video rendering itself takes place within the EU (Google Cloud, europe-west3).
Under the GDPR you have the right to: access your data; rectify inaccurate data; erase your data; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and to withdraw any consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority in your EU country of residence.
You can delete your account — including your photos — directly in the app at any time. To exercise any other right, contact info@bogaja.com.
Where we rely on your consent — in particular for creating a glow-up video from your photos and for push notifications — you can withdraw it at any time. For the glow-up video, simply do not request one; you can also stop notifications in your device settings. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Mirror is intended for users aged 16 and over. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact info@bogaja.com and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves or the law changes. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Current version: 22 June 2026.

Zahlungsdaten (Kartendaten o. Ä.) geben Sie beim Kauf eines Abos bei Apple bzw. Google ein; sie liegen dort. Wir erhalten und speichern Ihre vollständigen Zahlungsdaten nicht.
Glow-up-Videos. Wenn du auf „Glow-up-Video teilen“ tippst, erstellen wir aus deinem Ausgangs- und deinem aktuellen Fortschrittsfoto ein kurzes Vorher/Nachher-Video. Die Fotos werden dafür kurzzeitig auf unserem Render-Dienst in der EU verarbeitet (keine Gesichtserkennung, kein Drittanbieter, keine Nutzung für Werbung oder Tracking), das fertige Video wird privat und nur für dich zugänglich gespeichert und automatisch innerhalb von 48 Stunden gelöscht. Diese Verarbeitung erfolgt nur auf deine ausdrückliche Anfrage.

Einige dieser Dienstleister sitzen in den USA oder verarbeiten dort Daten. Soweit Daten die EU/den EWR verlassen, stützen wir uns auf geeignete Garantien nach Kapitel V DSGVO — insbesondere die Standardvertragsklauseln der EU-Kommission und, soweit vorhanden, die Zertifizierung des Anbieters unter dem EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Das Rendern der Glow-up-Videos selbst findet innerhalb der EU statt (Google Cloud, europe-west3).
Nach der DSGVO haben Sie das Recht auf: Auskunft; Berichtigung unrichtiger Daten; Löschung; Einschränkung der Verarbeitung; Widerspruch gegen die Verarbeitung; Datenübertragbarkeit; und jederzeitigen Widerruf erteilter Einwilligungen (ohne Auswirkung auf bereits erfolgte Verarbeitung). Außerdem haben Sie das Recht, sich bei einer Datenschutz-Aufsichtsbehörde in Ihrem EU-Wohnsitzland zu beschweren.
Sie können Ihr Konto — einschließlich Ihrer Fotos — jederzeit direkt in der App löschen. Zur Ausübung weiterer Rechte wenden Sie sich an info@bogaja.com.
Soweit wir uns auf Ihre Einwilligung stützen — insbesondere für die Erstellung eines Glow-up-Videos aus Ihren Fotos und für Push-Benachrichtigungen — können Sie diese jederzeit widerrufen. Für das Glow-up-Video fordern Sie schlicht keines an; Benachrichtigungen können Sie in Ihren Geräteeinstellungen deaktivieren. Der Widerruf berührt die Rechtmäßigkeit der bis dahin erfolgten Verarbeitung nicht.
Mirror richtet sich an Nutzer ab 16 Jahren. Die App ist nicht für Kinder unter 16 Jahren bestimmt, und wir erheben wissentlich keine Daten von ihnen. Sollten Sie vermuten, dass uns ein/e Minderjährige/r Daten übermittelt hat, kontaktieren Sie info@bogaja.com; wir löschen sie dann.
Wir können diese Datenschutzerklärung anpassen, wenn sich die App weiterentwickelt oder die Rechtslage ändert. Wir aktualisieren das Datum „Stand“ oben und informieren Sie bei wesentlichen Änderungen in der App. Aktuelle Fassung: 22. Juni 2026.
